So the title track to the first cassette release and one that saw me try to write a 'Don't think twice, It's alright' kind of song. I never used to think "I'm going to write that kind of song today" but to reflect on a time makes it easier to see why I was writing in a certain way, and even to the point of who I was listening to back then and how that crept into my songs. The music came first from what I can remember, as again early on I approached songs with the guitar first as it was comfort zone and entry point into writing. The lyrics mark the point in a relationship where change is on the cards, an inevitable change that could end well or not.
