Lyrically, this is very much me looking at myself and honestly saying it as I saw it back then. It's so easy to have tunnel vision when your locked in writing, playing shows and never really switching off. I'm the worst for it. I'm lucky to have someone who is far more patient than I deserve, and so this song is almost an ode to my failures, and of how I am fully aware that they reoccur from time to time. This was also the first song we recorded at Highbury studios, our first full band live recording session. Big learning curves but a lot of fun.
