I was determined to have Hannah sing a track on her own. To have someone who has a naturally beautiful voice, seemed silly not to gave a song to showcase it with. The lyrics were actually written for Hannah to sing, as I wrote the song with her in mind. We wrote the song in my garden around the same time as 'A Boat to Row to Row to You' and share a similar feel, moving away from the pop-tinged recordings of 'Autumn Glow' to something a little more spacious and serious in sound.
