I think this song stood out the most at the time for sounded a little different to what we'd written before. It had these strange pushes on the chord progression, with a 60's shuffle to it and close 'boy-girl' harmonies all the way through the track. I remember thinking how it didn't sound like us and that that was a good thing. Looking back on it, it sounds as Boat to Row as anything else we've released, but at the time it felt different. I know Hannah is a huge Belle and Sebastian fan, and maybe some of that came into this track.
